Thanks to state-of-the-art surface calibration and optimized grain geometry, Nature Works achieves exceptional filtration efficiency of up to 99.64%. Even the finest particles of down to 1 µm are reliably removed from the water - significantly finer than with conventional filter sand and many standard glass filter media.

No biofilm formation
Due to its rough surface, filter sand tends to promote the formation of biofilm and bacterial buildup. Over time, this leads to clumping, channeling, and a decline in filtration performance.
Nature Works, on the other hand, consists of high-purity, smooth flat glass with a virtually pore-free surface. This makes it significantly more difficult for bacteria and biofilm to colonize the material.
No compaction in the filter bed
The integrated anti-compaction technology prevents the filter material from clumping and reduces microchannels in the filter bed. Water flow remains consistently constant, and filtration operates much more efficiently.
