Description
The M1 Solar 3-way ball valve with T-ball from Praher Plastics is a modular valve designed for applications in swimming pool technology, water treatment, and process engineering. This model is equipped with an EO510 ECO-230 actuator with position indication.
To assist with pressure compensation during switching, the ball valve is equipped with an integrated pressure compensation system. For this purpose, one of the three pressure rings is provided with a pressure compensation bore.
This valve is specifically designed for use in solar thermal pool heating systems (e.g., heating via solar panels). The T-ball valve allows for the configuration of different flow paths according to the requirements of the respective system.
The ball valve can be combined with pool solar absorber systems and pool solar controls and can be integrated into corresponding pool solar systems.
The True-Union fittings with union nuts allow the valve to be removed without having to cut the connected pipes. This facilitates removal for maintenance and service work.

Note
The fact that the valve is not completely leak-tight throughout the flow path is due to the pressure compensation system incorporated into its design and does not constitute a manufacturing defect or malfunction.

Modular design
Can be expanded from manual operation to an automated solution without replacing the base valve. Suitable for system designs that may require future expansions or modifications.
Prepared for automation
The design of the M1 3-way ball valve is optimized for easy installation of actuator components.
A dome and a mounting base are integrated into the valve body. This allows the valve to be prepared for retrofitting with electric or pneumatic actuators. Retrofitting is also possible while the valve is installed. A suitable adapter set is required for this.
A clamping element is available as an option for fixed-point mounting. For flange connections on flat surfaces, a spacer facilitates positioning and installation.
Buttress thread
A buttress thread helps ensure a secure fit for the union nut and is designed for applications subject to vibration.
Left-hand thread on the pressure rings
The left-hand thread on the pressure rings reduces the risk of accidental rotation when installing the union nut and helps position the ball.
Safety handle with labeling plate
The safety handle ensures safe operation and maintenance. The correspondence between the handle and ball positions, integrated locking lugs, and a tool for removing the pressure rings make handling easier.
A form-fit connection to the shaft ensures proper installation. Custom label plates provide additional clarity.
T-ball for clear switching functions
Simultaneous connection of three lines: The T-bore can hydraulically connect two or three connections, allowing media to be distributed or mixed without additional fittings.
