Data Privacy

Peraqua Professional Water Products GmbH collects, processes, and uses personal data of a user without their further consent if doing so is necessary to enter into or perform a contract or for billing purposes. The customer is expressly informed that data privacy for data transmissions in open networks such as the Internet cannot be completely guaranteed under current technology. The customer knows that, technically speaking, the provider can view the sites stored on the webserver (and under certain circumstances, the customer’s data entered there) at any time. And other Internet users are also technically able under certain circumstances to encroach on network security and control communication. Peraqua Professional Water Products GmbH commissions other firms to perform tasks, such as delivering packages, letters, or emails. Those commissioned processors have access to personal information that they need to fulfil their tasks. They are obligated to handle the information they receive in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies: small text files that are placed on your end device with the help of your browser. They cause no damage.

We use cookies to make our services user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They allow us to recognize your browser during your next visit.

If you don’t want this to happen, you can set your browser to inform you whenever a cookie is placed so you can allow it only on a case-by-case basis. Deactivating cookies might restrict our website’s functionality.

Web Analysis

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website. The data this generates are used to optimise our website and advertising campaigns. Google Analytics is a web analysis service operated and provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States). Google processes the data for website use on our behalf and is contractually obligated to take measures to guarantee the confidentiality of the processed data. During your visit to our website, the following data are recorded among others:

Accessed sites

The attainment of “website goals” (such as contact requests and newsletter registrations)

Your conduct on the sites (such as clicks, scroll behaviour, and the visit’s duration)

Your approximate location (country and city)

Your IP address (in truncated form to prevent unambiguous allocation)

Technical information such as your browser, Internet provider, end device and screen resolution, source of origin for your visit (meaning, the website or advertising media via which you came to us)

Those data are transmitted to a Google server in the USA. To that end, Google observes the data protection provisions of the “EU-US Privacy Shield”.

Google Analytics stores cookies in your browser for two years after your most recent visit. Those cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognised during future website visits.

The recorded data are stored along with the randomly generated user ID, which makes it possible to evaluate pseudonymous user profiles. Those user-related data are automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remain stored in aggregated form indefinitely.

If you do not consent to the collection, you can prevent it with a one-time installation of the browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics. Source: traffic3.net
