Water treatment

Depending on the model selected, different measurement principles and disinfection methods are used:

CLF

Differences Between Active Oxygen and Chlorine

Active oxygen provides a particularly gentle bathing experience, as it significantly reduces the smell of chlorine and irritation to the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes.

It is therefore especially pleasant for people with sensitive skin, those with allergies, and for hot tubs or smaller private pools.

Compared to chlorine, it is gentler on the skin and more odorless. However, it requires more careful monitoring under heavy use or at high temperatures, as its effectiveness can diminish more quickly.

In addition, the system automatically monitors and adjusts the pH level. The dosing of algaecides and flocculants (FLOC+C) is also fully automated, ensuring consistently high water quality while reducing chemical consumption.

In addition to water treatment, the system performs numerous control functions:

Remote Monitoring and User-Friendly Operation

Water parameters, temperature, chemical usage, and system status can be monitored at any time via the touchscreen, app, and cloud platform. In addition, remote control allows you to adjust operating modes, pump output, filtration times, and other pool functions.

Safety

Comprehensive safety features monitor dosing quantities, flow rates, sensors, and system status. Automatic alerts and protective mechanisms prevent malfunctions and damage.

With the ICO Spa Partner 2, you always have the water quality under control and maintaining your pool is child's play.

The ICO Spa Partner 2 is an app-controlled, floating water analyser for whirlpools.

The pH value, ORP value and water temperature are measured every hour. The salt version also analyses the TDS value (conductivity). The measurement results are sent to an app via Wifi/Bluetooth and processed there. Based on the measured values, you receive personalised suggestions for further water treatment. Alarm messages are sent if urgent action is required.

The data management system of the ICO application is very sophisticated: It not only provides information on the current status, but also on the expected development of water quality. The application includes local meteorological forecasts in its projections.

Description

iQntrol DOS-COMPLETE is a high-precision disinfection system with intelligent pool management functions. Thanks to the four dosing pumps, disinfection, pH liquid, algaecide and flocculant can be dosed with one device. The touchscreen display shows all the information about the water quality and makes it easy to set up the entire system. With the internet connection, you can monitor the parameters of your pool via a mobile and/or web application.

Water purification

The DOS-COMPLETE dosing system ensures crystal-clear water in your pool using the smallest possible quantities of chemical additives. The free chlorine or redox value is measured using a membrane probe or redox probe. It monitors the set pH value of the pool water and automatically adjusts the dosing to the changing ambient conditions.

In addition, the dosing system doses the set amount of algaecide daily in relation to the swimming pool volume. The additional use of algaecide reduces the chlorine requirement. The slow, continuous dosing of flocculant binds even the smallest impurities and improves filter efficiency.

Level control: The water level can be monitored with the optional pressure sensor or float switch; the water level can be monitored in up to four levels for overflow basins
Backwash control (backwash frequency): in combination with the Aquastar Easy 2 automatic backwash valve (backwash duration)
Pump control: connection for ON/OFF pump via integrated socket, for speed-controlled pump via 4 potential-free contacts, when changing the valve position (automatic 6-way valve) the pump is switched off, when backwashing the speed is increased for more efficient backwashing

The iQntrol DOS-MODBUS is a Modbus-capable chlorine dosing system for reliable compliance with the water quality.

The measured values (disinfection, pH value, temperature), current operating conditions as well as malfunctions and alarms can be displayed on any browser-enabled device. Self-priming peristaltic metering pumps inject disinfectants and pH regulators directly into the sample water flowing through. The flow monitoring switches the device off automatically, if the flow cell flow is too low.

Including redox electrode with large-area, self-cleaning platinum probe. This ensures a reliable response to changes in the water quality and reliable maintenance of the desired disinfection power. The redox electrode is wear-free and lasts the life of the device.
