Nature Works is the only NSF61 certified glass filter media on the market worldwide. NSF/ANSI Standard 61 certification indicates that a product is safe for installation in a drinking water system for public use or consumption and is verified by a third party.

Anti-compression technology prevents compaction and micro-channeling in the filter material. The result is low pressure loss and optimum backwash efficiency. The pressure loss before and after filtering is minimal and has been proven to be 50-60% lower compared to other glass filter media. Nature Works® generally recommends a monthly backwash at a comparatively low filter speed of only 30m/h. Water savings of more than 75% are quite realistic with Nature Works® Hi-Tech glass filter media. This also reduces the consumption of chemicals.
