Description

The SafetyPack retrofit kit adds an integrated emergency power function to Aquastar Control backwash valves.

In the event of a power outage during the backwash process, the battery unit temporarily takes over the power supply to the backwash valve. If the external power supply is interrupted for more than 90 seconds, the valve automatically moves to the defined “Filter” position.

This helps reduce the risk of certain operational malfunctions, such as water loss, unintentional pool drainage, or the filter pump running dry.

Once the defined position is reached, the system shuts down to conserve battery power. As soon as the external power supply is available again, the SafetyPack is automatically reactivated.

Once power is restored, the backwash valve remains in the “Filter” position until a new control pulse is received.

The battery pack features an automatic charging function. A compatible replacement battery is available as an option.

The retrofit kit is available for Aquastar Control with pressure sensor, Aquastar Control with pressure sensor and valve and Aquastar mp6 plc.

Description

The AquaStar® mp6 plc was developed for the automated control of filtration systems in conjunction with PLCs.

It is available with ABS backwash valves rated up to 3.5 bar or ASA-GF versions rated up to 5 bar and is suitable for filtration systems ranging in size from d500 to d1050.

Description

The AquaStar EasyII with pressure sensor enables automatic control of backwash cycles in filtration systems. The process is triggered on a timer based on defined switch positions and additionally via a pressure sensor.
