Description

Increases operational safety in the event of a power failure during backwashing. This effectively and easily prevents water loss, emptying of the pool or dry running of the filter pump, for example.

During a power failure, the battery of the SafetyPack retrofit kit supplies the Aquastar backwash valve of the filter system with power. If the external power source fails for longer than 90 seconds, the backwash valve is automatically moved to the safe “filtering” position.

The SafetyPack is then switched off in such a way that no power is drawn from the battery and it is only put back into operation when the external power supply has returned.

When power is restored, the Aquastar remains in the safe position as long as no external impulse is given to change position.

When the power supply is working, the battery unit is maintenance-free and charges automatically. A suitable Spare battery pack (131535) is optionally available.

Conversion of the Aquastar backwash valve is very easy.

Available for Aquastar Control with pressure sensor, Aquastar Control with pressure sensor and valve and Aquastar mp6 plc.
